Hello!
Charlie Meechan was my father! I saw his name on the site & was thrilled. I was born in Kearny & lived in Bloomfield until the early 70's. My father passed away in October 2001. My mother was Dot Brown from Harrison.
Anything you remember about my dad would make my brother David & I very happy!

I'm going to send the link to your memoir archives to my friends in Kearny. Your vivid recollections are inspiring. I'm going through many things right now but I know that someday I will have a story of my own to share. Thanks again.
